Savour the classic fresh flavours of this Italian favourite,
made using grated PlantNation. Delicioso!

Ingredients for 3–4 medium sized Pizzas

For the Pizza Dough
500g Strong White Bread Flour, plus extra for dusting

1 x 7g sachet of Dried Yeast
1 tsp Caster Sugar
1½ tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ teaspoon Salt
300ml warm Water

For the Tomato Sauce
100ml Passata
1 tbsp fresh Basil,
chopped 1 crushed Garlic Clove

To top
200g grated PlantNation
10 Cherry Tomatoes,
cut in half Sun-dried Tomato Slices (drained from oil)

To serve
Fresh Basil Leaves
Chilli Oil to drizzle (optional)


1. Add the flour, yeast and salt into a bowl and make a well in the middle.

2. Add the olive oil to the water and slowly add to the flour mix, stirring well.

3. Knead until a smooth dough is formed.

4. Place the dough back into the bowl, cover with cling film (greased) and allow to double in size in a warm environment.

5. Remove the dough to a floured surface, knock it back and divide into 3 or 4 balls.

6. Use the dough straight away unless storing.

7. Roll out into round or oval shapes until the dough is about ½ cm thick.

8. Heat oven to 250ºC/480ºF/Gas Mark 9.

9. Onto each pizza, spread the tomato sauce onto the freshly rolled dough, add the grated PlantNation, then the sliced cherry tomatoes and sun-dried tomato slices as required.

10. Put onto a floured baking tray and pop in the hot oven for 6-10 minutes until golden and crisp.

11. Serve immediately, sprinkled with fresh basil leaves and drizzled with chilli oil as required.
